Tails From The Yard: Wednesday, January 7th

Another fun day at Day Care! Is there ever day here that isn't fun? We had plenty of familiar faces and some we haven't seen in a while. This chilly weather brings out the playful side of all the dogs. It is always so nice to see dogs playing together, especially when we can brings a shy dog out of their shell. We brought some different types of balls to the park today and we think it was a huge success. Not all the dogs enjoy chasing the red balls, some just can't keep up or just don't want to compete with our ball dogs. So we brought some slight bigger balls that have holes in them, called holey balls, and while the ball dogs were chasing the little red balls, other dogs got to have plenty of fun with the holey balls. We are always trying to find new ways to keep all the dogs happy and entertained.

Bailey W says, "Are you really taking my picture right now? You're supposed to warn me so I can smile." Pearl didn't even seem to notice that it was picture time.

Max is always ready for picture time.

Lucy doesn't care if Luna is bigger. Lucy will play with anyone.

Tanner just had to go cuddle with Eli. These are two of the softest dogs in day care.

Since Riley doesn't have tail, he wiggles his whole bottom when he's happy. It's his happy dance!

Gracie, you're so serious. We don't do serious here at day care. We do fun.

Bruno's gonna get you! Whenever some one kneels or sits down, Bruno rushes over to sit with them and noses their arm till they starting petting him. He loves attention.

Riley, Lucy, and Max know that playing is the best way to stay warm.

Harper would disagree. She says her cute sweaters are the best way to fight the winter chill.

Looks like Gracie is treating Eli and Lucy to her wonderful singing skills.

Tanner doesn't mind being small. He's travel sized for our convenience.

Rusty says he'll hold on to the ball for us so it won't go missing. At least, that's what he would say if he didn't have a ball in his mouth.

Molly Jean wants Bailey B to come play.

Sadie is just as happy as can be! She would get these bursts of energy and just start running around the yard.

Harley was quite difficult to get a picture of as she and Riley were running around together too much to photograph well. But here she is taking a much needed break. And Eli is still looking as cute as can be.

Scout and Bailey B are watching Molly W playing with Boo. She had been resting until I rubbed her belly and then she got a burst of playful energy and decided to take on one of the most energetic dogs.
